Playsuits: Still IN or OUT?

               We all loved the long jumpsuit but we have gotten used to seeing only one particular style of it i.e the harem type. Short playsuits are more fun but they fizzled out after spring to give way for the long jumpsuits which we have become too familiar with. you can even wear them with a vest or boyfriend blazer for a more chic look. I'm loving the slouchy type as seen in the pictures above, they can even be paired with tights.  if you are still loving the longer types, go for the wide leg and fitted versions of the playsuit.

I am also loving the african print playsuits. they are my faves for the moment.

              Seen rocking the jumpsuit is fashionista Nike Osinowo Soleye and tv presenter Adora Oleh in the new edition of complete fashion and kim kardashian while touring in capri and they all look fab in it.So it is safe to say that the jumpsuit is still in. for how long? i don't know

Fashion lovers: Cropped tops

 this 80's trend is back! girls with a bit of tummy should not be scared at all. this top can be worn in different stylish ways without baring the midriff. Lagosians are definitely stylish people, i just love the way it was worn by these two ladies in the picture above and below;

Manequin magazine to hit lagos stands

If you've been following the mannequin blogs, you'd know their magazine is one to look out for. i am excited to see what it has to offer as they have stated that "it aims to be the ultimate african fashion bible". on the front cover is fast rising musician/rapper Mo cheddah alongside with presenter of studio 53 and cynthia omorodion, present miss Nigeria.

trend spotter- bell bottoms

Spotted wearing the bellbottoms trend is stylist Tayo Shonekan at the elite model search finale. She's wearing it with a one shouldered embroidered lace top with flared bottoms. I predict seeing more of this trend before the year runs out.

International Trendwatch- bell bottoms

the bellbottoms which were a big hit in the 70's have come back not quite sure if its making a hit though because its being kind of off and on. it made its first comeback in 2009 where stars like kim kardashian (above), heidi klum, victoria beckham and jeniffer lopez were spotted wearing it and its is slightly easing its way into the year 2010.

I call it hand art because they are works of art. Any lover of beautiful things will want to covet one or two if not all of the collection. Here are my fave pieces from the collection. Notice this is my second blog on accessories. I'm becoming an adept lover of accessories, they are fun and not hard to style except when they are overdone. you could wake up years of unused clothing in your closet with a purse or earrings.

culture chic african are the words that came to my mind. whether its skinnies or a frock, this bag will finish up the look

'color yellow' many people are scared of this color cuz its loud. what better way to wear it than with accessories. this shade of yellow, mustard shade is a bit mellow but would still brighten up any outfit

this royal blue and gold bag is working for me in so many ways. the croc skin is a super plus! i see a white boyfriend shirt and tan shorts with this bag.
